Morocco is a year-round surf destination, but the best time to visit depends on your ability and what you're looking for.

Winter (October - March): Prime Time for Pros

This is the peak season. The North Atlantic pumps out consistent, powerful groundswells that light up Morocco's famous point breaks. Waves are bigger, cleaner, and more consistent.
Best for: Intermediate to advanced surfers.
Wetsuit: 4/3mm.

Autumn (September - November): The Sweet Spot

The water is still warm, the big winter swells start to arrive, and the summer crowds have thinned out. It's arguably the best all-around time to visit, with great conditions for all levels.
Best for: All levels.
Wetsuit: 3/2mm.

Spring (April - May): Fun for Everyone

The weather is beautiful, and there are still plenty of fun-sized swells. The powerful winter storms have passed, making it a great time for beginners and intermediates to progress without the intensity of peak season.
Best for: Beginners and intermediates.
Wetsuit: 3/2mm.

Summer (June - August): Small Waves & Sunny Days

The smallest and least consistent season, but perfect for beginners learning in the whitewash. It's hot, sunny, and the vibe is relaxed. It's a great time for a family holiday or for those just starting their surf journey.
Best for: First-time beginners.
Wetsuit: Boardshorts and a rash vest, or a 2mm shorty.
